About
The Sea Ray 300 of the mid-1980s, the first of several 300 Sundancer models which followed in later years, is a mid-cabin family cruiser with stern-drive power and comfortable cockpit and cabin accommodations. This was the best-selling boat for Sea Ray, and remains a good selection for used-boat buyers looking for a well-built express cruiser.
She rides on a solid fiberglass hull, and her 11-foot beam results in a spacious interior with berths for four adults and two kids. The floor plan is arranged with double berths fore and aft, and privacy curtains separate the staterooms from the mid-cabin. A shower is fitted in the stand-up head, two hanging lockers offer adequate storage, and the interior is finished with a good deal of teak trim.
The Sundancer cockpit is dominated by an elevated double helm seat which contains a flip-down aft facing jump seat in addition to a built-in refreshment center. There are storage pockets under the gunwales, and a transom door. Additional features include newer cockpit canvas, walkthrough transom, excellent up0holstery both inside and out and a swim platform.
AZIMUTH II appears to bein above average condition and has appropriate engine hours for her age. She would be a good purchase and a good value for a young couple or an older couple looking to continue their boating experience.
