You will be hard-pressed to find a better-looking and better-cared-for Bayfield 32C on the market. Her condition definitely belies her age and her last two owners have lavished her with love and attention.
The Bayfield 32 has an impressive track record. Bob Lush sailed an early boat in the 1976 OSTAR, the single-handed transatlantic race. Lush noted that the eastbound, off-the-wind passage to England was a delight, with the boat making 1,000 miles a week and handling well. Plenty of other 32's have completed ocean passages, and the boat is a good choice for a Caribbean or Bahamas sabbatical.
SEMPER PARATUS is believed to have been the second last 32 that was ever built. Her current owners have enjoyed her for the last 18 years. During their custodianship, it is truly amazing the care, improvements and upgrades that they have bestowed upon her. In truth, when you come aboard her, her overall quality feels more like an up-scale Gozzard than a Bayfield.
