MINWAHSIN II is possibly THE nicest example that is currently available of this well-built Canadian cruiser. She was designed by the respected Canadian Naval Architect William Garden and built by Collingwood Yachts. With her inside steering station and conventional aft cockpit with wheel steering and custom cockpit enclosure, you will have the best of both worlds for all weather cruising. The superb visibility and brightness and comfort of the main salon make this a wonderful vessel to cruise on all year round. With her offshore potential she would be equally happy in the heat of the tropics or the coolness of the Great Lakes.

MINWAHSIN II has benefited greatly from being owned by very knowledgeable yachtsmen. Her current owners have, during their ownership, done a number of upgrades and improvements to make her an even more comfortable all-round cruiser. These include but are not limited to:

Galley stove and refrigeration
Upholstery and curtains
Sails and canvas work
Custom cockpit hardtop with solar panels and control
Hydraulic backstay and rigid vang

Her design is such that she will cut through the waves rather than slamming into them, a downside to many of today's flat bottom designs. She will point relatively high due to the fin keel and is easy to tack. She tracks well and is easy to steer. She will give a feeling of safety and solid heaviness when under way in heavy air. Bill Garden is a well-known naval architect and the design and her specifications are among the best around.
