This Sparkman & Stevens designed boat has nice lines and below decks, it has a well laid out interior. It offers a lot of boat for this price range. The Hughes 31 is a well proven design and represents excellent value when maintained the way "Tranquility" has been. “Tranquility” is a well equipped very comfortable boat for a cruising family of 6 or 4 adults. The H31 SE in 1981 was one of the Hughes Boat Works best examples of incorporating a Sparkman & Stephens design with quality materials and workmanship. Upgrades and TLC since ’81 have preserved and advanced the original purpose of this boat - a safe & comfortable ‘family’ sailing boat.
