Chris-Craft 381 Catalina Motoryacht
With all the upgrades made to this yacht, she would more properly be referred to as a 2008 model rather than a 1981 model. Please don't let the nominal age dissuade you from considering this marvelous vessel. Her excellent condition definitely belies her age.

Boat transactions usually involve large financial investments and, in Ontario, our data is showing that they are currently averaging around $70,000 CDN for a pre-owned boat. We are definitely finding that the average selling price is on the rise and more and more frequently exceeding $100,000 CDN in value and, of course, in some instances can run even more for higher-end yachts. Very few people consider purchasing or selling a home without the help of a real estate broker and yet many people have a tendency to avoid dealing with a professional Yacht Broker. Considering the small upside cost and the large downside risk, it truly may not be prudent to consider purchasing or selling a boat without the professional assistance of a qualified Yacht Broker.
But if you are still not convinced of the value of a professional Yacht Broker, here are a dozen or so more reasons to consider using one.
We are delighted to announce the addition of Larry Parkinson of PCS Marine Technologies to the Harris & Ellis brokerage team.
Having proudly served the marine industry for over 25 years, Larry brings with him a vast knowledge of boat structure and marine systems. During his tenure with Canadian Coast Guard and PCS Marine, he provided condition assessment and corrosion monitoring services for ship structures and essential piping systems, successfully acquiring approval from six International Classification Societies. Moving from large fleets to small commercial vessels and pleasure craft, Larry gained accreditation as a qualified marine surveyor and the loyalty of repeat clients.
Larry brings with him the environmentally friendly and classic looking line of Duffy electric boats. Having traveled coast to coast to coast in Canada and overseas, Larry took a keen interest in green technologies as they applied to marine propulsion systems. In 2006, he began researching manufacturers of electric propelled pleasure craft to determine which line of electric boats would be best suited for use by pleasure boaters in Canada and the US. His quest took him to California where he discovered the Duffy Electric Boat Company … the first and finest electric boats since 1970!
We welcome Larry’s friends and clients to our “family.”
